Imagine dancing the night away, with every single person around you with big smiling faces, singing at the top of their voices! This is the kind of atmosphere 'Star Funk Sounds' creates!
The band have been entertaining guests for a whopping 20 years, and were even chosen as the only band to perform to 300,000 people in Hyde Park for part of the Royal Wedding celebrations of William and Kate in 2011! When asking the client why they were chosen for such a prestigious event, the answer was 'chemistry.' Star Funk Sounds has an onstage chemistry like no other, and clearly love what they do.
Having performed all over the world, for big clients such as Coca Cola and HSBC, and backed incredible celebrities such as Rob Brydon, Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr, the band are seasoned professionals and know exactly how to fill your dance-floor with fun!

All price quotes for evening entertainment are based on a 17:00 arrival and a 00:00 finish.
Most of our acts will be travelling a long way to get your your event and they work long hours, as such, they will require a substantial hot meal and non-alcoholic drinks to be provided for each member of the act throughout the event. Free parking and legally permitted unloading/loading areas must also be provided by the client.

From the opening ‘Buddha Bar’ sax set during the welcome reception, to live walk-up music through to a sensational dance act followed by a ‘must-dance’ set by the full band, everyone’s experience was enhanced by our choice of band. Deciding to add ‘live’ walk up music for the awards presentation itself was a first for us, and the decision proved right. The ‘stings’ ranged from intense to amusing - our Managing Editor walked up to the Mission Impossible theme - and caused one of our guests to remark that it was ‘just like the Oscars’.
